Certified medical assistants

The Northeast Texas Community College Medical Assistant program announced that 100 percent of its second year students passed the National Certification Exam offered through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). These students, who graduated in May, are now eligible to be employed as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) anywhere in the United States. Graduates from left, are, Natassia Mims of Daingerfield; April Brannon of Mount Pleasant; Amanda Sustaire of Ore City; Karen Pitts of Hughes Springs; Kayla Miller of Sulphur Springs; Emiley Pierce of Ore City; and Nelda Davis, NTCC Medical Assistant Program Director.
