Local teenager releases new song

Singing has always been in her life, and Julia Beers is closer and closer to cutting albums. She has been singing at various venues around the East Texas area. The 14-year-old, and soon to be a freshman at Hughes Springs High School, started singing when she was 5 years old and started recording when she was 12, according to her father, Greg Beers. She sings pop music ballads.
“She recorded a five-song CD,” Mr. Beers said. “Hopefully it will be out in the next few weeks. A single of that release was out in July called “Good Life.” She helped write the song, along with her producer, Darin Michael Productions of Chattanooga, Tenn.”
