Lewis
Services for Patsy J. Lewis, 78, of Mount Pleasant, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Reynolds Cemetery.
There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 Friday evening at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lewis was born March 12, 1935, and died Aug. 17.

Lovelady
Graveside services for Doris Lovelady, 61, of Hughes Springs, will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, at Hughes Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Lovelady was born Dec. 2, 1951, to Riehl and Ruth Williams, and died Aug. 20.

Nadine Mae Cummings Maupin, at the age of 87, of Fort Worth, passed away on Aug. 9. After a long and happy life, Mrs. Maupin succumbed to the affects of age and metastic squamous cell carcinoma.
She was born on May 9, 1926, in Britton, Okla. to Cecil and Opal Cummings. She attended Lubbock High School where she graduated in 1944. After high school she worked for Dalby’s shipping as a billing clerk. In January of 1945 she married Herschel Maupin.

Graveside services for Joe W. Pyland, 77, of Hughes Springs, were held Aug. 14, at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs.
Mr. Pyland was born Oct. 10, 1935, in Avinger and died Aug. 11, at a Mount Pleasant hospital.

A memorial service for Joe Starrett, 82, of Daingerfield was held Aug.16, at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating.
Mr. Starrett was born April 14, 1931, in Morris County and died Aug. 12 in Tyler.
 

Services for Charles “Charley” Buford Tipping, 87, of Hughes Springs, were held Aug. 15, in Hughes Springs. Interment was in Hughes Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Tipping was born Aug. 27, 1925, in Cuthand, and died Aug. 11 at his home.

Westmoreland
Services for L.J. Westmoreland, 86, of Jefferson, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery.
Mr. Westmoreland was born July 9, 1927, and died Aug. 17.

Starrett
A memorial service for Joe Starrett, 82, of Daingerfield will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug.16, at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating.
