AVINGER -- Services for Debbie Diane Williams, 61 of Avinger, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder- Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Williams was born June 6, 1956 in West Union, South Carolina to Roy and Nell Holmes and passed away May 11 at a Longview hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Wayne and Harold Holmes. Debbie is survived by her husband, Richard Williams of Avinger; two sons, Joseph Williams of Harker Heights, TX. and Moses Williams and wife, Jill of Pell City, Al.; daughter Jennifer Perry of Harker Heights, TX.; seven grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Holmes; and a host of other relatives and friends

Lynda June Belk

Lynda June Belk was born Aug. 27, 1941 in Henderson. She died Feb. 7. Ms. Belk was a 1959 graduate of Daingerfield Highs School. She was preceded in death by her father, Bryson Belk; mother Kathryn Fiser; grandmother June Davis; and a brother, Damon Belk. She is survived by A brother, Jacky Belk; and a sister, Kristi Pucket Dupriest.

CAPERTON

IRVING – Services for Tom C. Caperton, of Irving, were held April 19 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. Burial followed on April 23 at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, under the direction of Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Caperton was born June 2, 1949, in Dallas and passed away April 16. Mr. Caperton was a former member of the Irving and Grapevine Police Departments and served in the United States Army as a member of the Military Police. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from ACU-Dallas and was active as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America. He also served as Chairman of the La Cima Board of Governors and as Treasurer for the Entertainment Series of Irving. Mr. Caperton was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Caperton; a son Tim Caperton and wife, Pam; a daughter, Dr. Jennifer Caperton; a brother, Wes Caperton and wife, Janice, and a grandson, Collins Caperton.
