LINDEN– Freddie Lynn Neese, 71, of Fort Worth, formerly of Linden, died April 1. Mr. Neese was born Nov. 30, 1946 in Linden to Eddie Merritt Neese and Ruby Pauline Renfro. Services were held April 5, at Bear Creek Baptist Church with Bro. John Baxter and Joe B. Lovelace officiating. Burial followed in the Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. DAINGERFIELD -- Services for Sybil Irene Parker Walton 85, of Daingerfield were held April 7, at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with Dr. Tim Wade and Bro. Danny Broughton officiating. Burial followed in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Sybil was born on March 31, 1933 in Weldon, Texas to William Jeff and Sula Starns Parker. She died on Wednesday, April 4, in Pittsburg. She was a member of First Baptist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Northeast Texas Water Utility Association and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Cleo Jenkins and A.D.

CASON -- Memorial services for Dyanna Lee Reed, 72, of Fort Worth will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 21, at First Baptist Church-Cason with Bro. Mark Young officiating. Dyanna was born on Aug. 29, 1945 in Daingerfield to Roy V. and Mary Young Shaddix. She died on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Fort Worth. She was retired from Brinks Security as a data entry control supervisor. Survived by her son Martin “Marty” Craig Warren of Ft. Worth; sisters and brother-in-law Brenda and Gerald Stotts of Daingerfield, Linda Owens of Katy; brothers and sisters- in- law David and Linda Shaddix of Katy, Rodger and Jeanie Shaddix of Daingerfield; aunts Evelyn Ragsdale of Daingerfield, Dorothy Jones of Mount Pleasant; 6 nieces and 2 nephews and other extended family. AVINGER -- Services for Helen Alford, 92, of Avinger, were held March 22 at Avinger United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Alford was born June 18, 1925 and died March 19. ORE CITY -- Services for Juanita Rogers, 86, of Ore City were held March 24 at Saint Paul Baptist Church. Burial followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Ms. Rogers was born June 20, 1931 and died March 19.

LINDEN – Frances S. Alvis, 97, of Linden died March 22. Mrs. Alvis was born April 13, 1920 in Munich, Germany to Johann Schonwetter and Anna Stadler.
