Baptist Church in Hughes Springs. Burial followed
at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of
Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs.
Peppers was born September 15, 1922 and passed away
Tuesday, May 12.

Daniel

Funeral services for Venoy Daniel, 78 of Daingerfield were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at Veal Switch Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Ogelsby and Bro. Paul Denny officiating. Burial followed in the Veal Switch Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Venoy was born December 8, 1936 in Simms to Everett and Ima Moore Daniel and died on Sunday, May 10, in Daingerfield. Venoy was a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church, veteran of the U S Army and also served in the Texas National Guard. He was retired from T&N Railway as a first class carman. Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife Virginia Daniel of Daingerfield; sons and daughter-in-law Roger D.

Hayes

Funeral services for Pauline Laverne Leach Hayes, 100 of Daingerfield were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16 at the First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with Bro. Don Ross officiating. Burial followed at 2:15 p.m. in Restlawn Memorial Park in Sulphur Springs. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Pauline was born in Sulphur Springs, TX on January 25, 1915 to the late James A. and Susan Anne Leach. She graduated Sulphur Springs High in 1933 and married Charles Maxie Hayes that same year where she made her home until moving to Daingerfield, TX in 1953. They were married for 70 years before Maxie’s death in 2004. She died May 12, shortly after her 100th birthday in Sugar Land, TX. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, and lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Daingerfield where she enjoyed participating in the spiritual and social events and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Mary Gayle Hall Reagan, 86, of Longview, formerly of Daingerfield, passed away April 20, in Dallas. She
was born July 3, 1928 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Vernon and Louis Haddock Hall. She married Billy Joe
Reagan May 21, 1947. She was an agent for the State of Texas Welfare Department.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, B.J. (Bill) Reagan of Longview; son: Mike Reagan and his wife
Patsy of Keller, TX; grandchildren: Ryan Reagan of Keller, Sean Reagan and his wife Stephanie of Granbury,
Jennifer Shankle and her husband David of Lake Charles, LA, and Lee Ann Atwood and her husband
Billy of Manhattan, KS; great grandchildren: Hunter, Drew, Kenneth, Ethan and Blake; sister: Nancy Majors
of Kilgore; nieces and nephews: Marsha Edney, Melissa Adamson, Melanie Majors-Siers, Ben Majors, and Scott
Majors. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-Penny Fruge.

Funeral services for Mary Jo Hartgrove, 73 of Daingerfield will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at First Baptist Church Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Mary Jo was born on January 29, 1942 in Cason to Hugh Elmer and Edna Gene Wardlow Edwards and died on May 2, 2105 in Arlington. She was a member of First Baptist Church Cason and was preceded in death by parents, husband Dan Hartgrove and sister Millie Reames. Survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Danny and Julie Hartgrove of Arlington, Ed and Sonya Hartgrove of Cason; grandchildren D.J. Services for Mrs. Myrtle Grace Lawrence Sparks, 95, of Daingerfield, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ in Daingerfield with Bro. Johnny Coleman officiating. Burial followed at Clark Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Sparks was born September 28, 1919 to John Albert and Mary Elizabeth Truitt Lawrence in Mont Belview, Texas. She went to her heavenly home April 29. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 58 years, Lee Roy Sparks; her parents; two brothers, Luther Daniel Lawrence and Ernest Kade Lawrence; and three sisters, Lorene Elizabeth Northwerthy, Dora Kroger, and Pearl Beatrice Hunter.
