Segers

William David “Bill” Segers, 41, of Hughes Springs, TX passed away on June 29, 2014. He was born June
1st, 1974 in West Monroe, Louisiana. Bill started his own plumbing business in Mt. Pleasant, TX, and loved
to be outdoors. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Those
to cherish his memory are his son Hunter David Segers, daughter McCall Brooke Segers, and granddaughter
Raelynn Brooke Segers; parents William Dewy Segers and Dona Streetman Segers; sisters Connie Segers Watkins
and husband Marty, Darla Segers Shaw and husband Gary; 5 nieces and nephews Kayla Watkins, Austin
Watkins, Abby Watkins, Dylan Shaw & Shelby Shaw; grandmother Dortha Foster Adams & many aunts uncles
and cousins.
Mr. Segers was preceded in death by his grandparents Helen Richardson Segers, Versie Segers Jr. & Charles
Donald Streetman.

Roger Dale Eaves, 75, of Linden passed away Thursday July 9, 2015. Mr. Eaves was born September 9,
1939 in New Colony. Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, on July 13 at the New Colony Baptist Church.
Burial followed in the New Colony Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

Services Mrs. Bonnie Jenkins, 87 of Avinger, were
held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 at Avinger Baptist
Church under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home
in Jefferson. Mrs. Jenkins was born December 21, 1928
in Lasater, and died July 6.

Erwin

Alice Pearl Smith “Erwin”, a resident of the Pittsburg area, died Saturday the 27th of June at Good Shepard
Medical Center. Born in 1942 in Union Church Mississippi, Alice received a degree in Cosmetology and
enjoyed a long career as a professional beautician and later retired. Alice loved good food and socializing,
enjoyed going to movies, dancing, and spending time with friends, and had a wonderful smile that could
light up a room. She is survived by her children, Ray West Jr., Dewuana Reed, and David Smith, grandchildren
Krystal Blades, Krystin Deen, Alicia West Cox, Randalle Bourgeois, and great grandchildren Myerkal
Blades, Tristan Cummings, Piper Witt, Hayden Bourgeois, all of whom live throughout the states of Texas,
Louisiana, and Mississippi, and brought great joy to her later years. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted

8, 1952. She passed away July 1 at her home in Omaha.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at
Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ. Burial followed at Rivers
Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral
Home in Hughes Springs.

the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
