Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Burial followed at Mt. Moriah in Avinger, under the direction
of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Fomby was born October 16, 1943 and passed
away September 21.

home in Ore City. Services for Mr. Cook were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 28, at Reeder-Davis
Chapel in Ore City. Burial followed at Piney Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in
Ore City.

September 11. Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26 under the direction of
Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial followed on Monday, September 28, at the National
Cemetery in Arlington, TX.

Funeral services for Jessie Pauline Lancaster, 82 of Daingerfield were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday,
January 30, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Curtis Epnett and Bro. Joseph Pemberton officiating.
Burial followed in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-
Haggard Funeral Home. Jessie was born on September 20, 1933 in Van Zandt
and died on Monday, September 28, in Daingerfield.

DAVIS

Services for Irene Parker Davis, 91, of Daingerfield were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, at
Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial followed at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery in Daingerfield under the direction
of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Parker was born October 6, 1923 in McCurtain
County, OK and passed away September 25. In her early years, she taught at Spring Lake Park in
Texarkana. Afterwards, Mrs. Parker moved to Daingerfield, where she served as the Librarian for
Daingerfield ISD for many years until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of First Baptist Church of
Daingerfield for over 50 years. Loving to paint, Mrs. Parker taught Art and was a member of several art
clubs. She loved the Thomas Kinkaid paintings. She is survived by her son, Ben Parker and wife
Jenell; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great nephews and nieces.

Bolden
Services for Robert John “Bobby” Bolden, 61, of Daingerfield, were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, at First Baptist Church in Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Mr. Bolden was born November 14, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away September 21, at a Longview hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired police officer. Bobby also served as Chief of Police in Winfield. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Jeanette Loafman.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Lynn Bolden; four children, Robert Shane Bolden of Lone Star, Tiffany Bolden of Daingerfield, Lacey Bolden of Daingerfield, and Christi Roberts of Lone Star; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

McCord

Funeral Services for Samuel Dennis McCord, 84, of Hughes Springs, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday,
September 19 at Lone Star Baptist Church with Bro.Rick Monds officiating. Burial will be in the Harris
Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Samuel was born on May 23, 1931 in Purdy,Oklahoma to Samuel and Clara Vaughn McCord. He
died on September 12, in Hughes Springs. He was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church, member
of the Iron Bluff Masonic Lodge, retired Veteran of the U S Navy, Lone Star Steel and Pilgrims Pride.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, wife Carolyn Faye McCord, sisters Emma Ethylene Zemke,
Hester Johnson and Janell Horton; brothers Robert Johnson, James Paul Johnson and Larry McCord
Mr. McCord is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Samantha and Tomas Vazquez of Mount Pleasant,

Home. Aileen was born July 11, 1921 in Pittsburg to Grafton and Nancy Pollan. She died on Thursday,
September 17, in Mt. Pleasant.
