Charles Stephen Evans was born to N.L. and Leona Jordan Evans in LeCompte, Louisiana, on October 15,
1934. His train left the station at 5:15am on Wednesday, November 25, in Texarkana. Services were held at 2:00
p.m., Saturday, November 28, at The Linden United Methodist Church under the direction of Reeder-Davis

Services for Gayle Patricia Miles Glass, 73, of Daingerfield, were held Nov 25, at the Smyrna Cemetery
in Atlanta with Bro. Dan Gilliam officiating. A memorial service was held Nov 27 at the First United Methodist
Church with Bro. Dan Gilliam officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Glass was born on December 9, 1942, in Lorain, Ohio to Robert H. and Elizabeth Myrtle
Miles and died on Nov 23 in Longview. Mrs. Glass was a graduate of Daingerfield High School and the University
of North Texas, member of the First United Methodist Church and PEO, a first grade teacher in Archer City,
TX. and the most of her life serving as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Dorothy Miles Turpin.
She is survived by her husband William Ray “Bill” Glass of Daingerfield, daughter and

Carlton LaRoux, 86, of Blanchard, Louisiana, passed away, November 27. Mr. LaRoux was born June 5, 1929
to Thomas LaRoux and Ada Carney. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, in the chapel of
Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Doug Allen officiating. Burial followed in the Zion Hill
Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

ROY CLYDE HARDIN JR

Services for Roy Clyde Hardin Jr will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5,
at 12 p.m. The family would like to welcome friends to the funeral home from or a visitation 2 hours prior to the service.
Roy went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 1. Roy was born to loving parents Roy C. and Mary Hardin
on August 16, 1944 in Moroe AR. He attended and graduated from T. A. Futral High School in Maryanna AR.
Following High School, Roy married the love of his life, Darlene, and started a family. He worked in the flooring
industry and even at one time owned his own company by the name Floors and More in Daingerfield. Later in life,
Roy found a love of NASCAR with his grandson, and also would ride ATVs with anyone who was willing to go with
him. Above everything, Roy was a family man and appreciated camping with all of those that he loved whole heartedly.
