Milford Jay Shumate, 73, of Pittsburg, was born on May 5, 1942 and passed away on Saturday, September 12
in Pittsburg. Services were held at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Curtis Epnett and Bro. John Williams
officiating, on Tuesday, September 15, at 11:00 a.m., under the direction on Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Mildred Lorene Findley, 88 of Lone Star, was born July
4, 1927 in Dekalb. Mrs. Findley passed away September
18, in Mount Peasant. Services for Mrs. Findley were
held on Tuesday, September 22, at 2 p.m., at Bates-
Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home, under the direction of
Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Mrs. Georgia Beene, 60 of Hughes Springs, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday,
September 26 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes
Springs. Mrs. Beene was born November 19, 1954 in Jefferson, and passed away September 15.

Services for Ethel Anita Driggers, 79, Hughes Springs were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at
Reeder-Davis Chapel with Bro. John Pease officiating. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the
direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Driggers was born February 10, 1936 in
Norman, Arkansas and passed away September 16.

Graveside services for Faye Kathryn Surratt Mozingo, 74, of Ore City were held Thursday,
August 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Ore City Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. Mrs. Mozingo was born February 2, 1941 in Linden, Texas and died Tuesday, August 18.

Funeral services for Loy Montgomery, Jr., 80, of Lone Star, were held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 22, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Montgomery was born September 13, 1934.

Linda Ray Barnes was born in Livingston, Montana and passed away August 6. Linda was a resident of Lone Star, TX at the time of her passing. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs.

Services for William “Bill” Tyson of Atlanta were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
Bill was born May 24, 1935 in El Dorado, Arkansas and passed from this earth on August 15. He was preceded in death by his mother and dad, Audrey Dell and Hugh (Bud) Tyson; brothers, Samuel, Clayton, Charles, and Daniel Tyson; sister, Judy Tyson Reneau; aunt, Pauline Tyson Frazier; special granddaughters, Kimberly Tyson Phillips and Jennifer Tyson; grandson, Ricky Tyson; grandson-in-law, Christopher Lee Glasgow; and son-in-law, Charles E. Shaw, Jr.

Richard Harold Andrews went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 18, following a lengthy illness. Services for Mr. Andrews of Ore City were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, with Brother Kenneth Bowden officiating. Burial followed at Coffeeville Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City, followed by a Masonic Service.

George T. Warren, 88, of Linden passed away
Thursday, July 30. Mr. Warren was born October 17,
1926 in Cass County. Graveside services were held at
11:00 a.m., Monday, August 3 at New Colony Cemetery.
Burial was under the direction of Reeder-Davis
Funeral Home of Linden.
