LINDEN–Dr. Kent Scott Cochran, 60, of Linden died January 6. Mr. Cochran was born Aug. 11, 1957 in Linden, to Charles B. Cochran and Melba Dene Kent. Services were held Jan. 13, in the Chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. HUGHES SPRINGS: Services for Ms. Edna Arlene Dooly Greene, 92, of Rowlett, were held Jan. 13, at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Doris Barnard Adams was born Nov. 19, 1931 in Daingerfield, and passed away on Dec. 30, 2017. She graduated from Daingerfield ISD. After marrying Curtis Adams, she moved to the Concord Community between Hughes Springs and Linden. She was a devoted housewife and mother. She loved to cook. Being the oldest of seven children, Doris learned to cook for her siblings at an early age. Some of her family’s favorite dishes were her “spaghetti” and sausage balls. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, and growing flowers. She was a member of the Red Radiance Garden Club. Doris was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in Bible School. She spent the last year at Windsor Place Nursing Home where she made many special friends, including Marilyn, Judy, Ms. Milo, and Valarie. The family would like to thank the staff at Windsor Place for the love and support. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Curtis Adams; parents, O.B.

Daingerfield- Services for Imogene Hughes White, 88 of Daingerfield were held Jan. 6, at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Old Union Cemetery. LINDEN -- Florence Eaves, 87,of Linden died Jan. 5, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Eaves was born Feb. 6, 1920 in Linden, to Ed Burleson and Gracie Jane Foreman Burleson. . Services were held Jan. 8, at the First Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Lonnie Hicks officiating.
