Services for Ruthie Nell Vaughan, 74, of Linden, were held March 16 in Linden with the Rev. Lee Cross officiating. Interment was in Smyrna Cemetery in Harris County.
Mrs. Vaughan was born Nov. 11, 1938, in Coffeeville to Dewitt Moreland and Marie Zetty Moreland and died March 12 at her home.

Graveside services for Charles Ethridge White, 77, of Atlanta, were held March 18 in Antioch Cemetery in Atlanta with J.W. Crow officiating.
Mr. White was born May 26, 1935, in Bowie, to Delma and Thelma Betts White and died March 15 at his home.

Graveside services for Harold Johnson Hall, 77, of Hughes Springs, were held March 7 at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Hughes Springs.
Mr. Hall was born June 30, 1935, in Hughes Springs and died March 5 at his home.

Services for Maurene Hays, 88, of Linden, were held March 7 at First Baptist Church of Linden with Jackie Stanfield officiating. Interment was in New Colony Cemetery.
Mrs. Hays was born July 14, 1924, to Otha and Ora Hamilton and died March 5 in a Linden nursing facility.

Graveside services for Jimmie Lee Pruitt, 79, formerly of Hughes Springs, were held March 5 at Sardis Cemetery in Hughes Springs.
Ms. Pruitt was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Cass County and died March 1.

Services for Bobby Lee Smith Sr., 67, of Hughes Springs, were held March 6 at First Baptist Church in Cason with Scott Darby officiating. Interment was in County Line Cemetery.
Mr. Smith was born Jan. 17, 1946, in Daingerfield, and died March 3 at his home.

Services for Charles E. Stern, 67, of Daingerfield, were held March 9 at Daingerfield High School with interment in the Daingerfield Cemetery.
Mr. Stern was born Feb. 3, 1946, in Daingerfield and died March 4 at The Hospice of East Texas.

Services for Walter David Terrell Sr., 78, of Daingerfield were held March 9, at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield. Interment was in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mr. Terrell was born Nov. 16, 1934, in DeKalb and died March 6, in Plano.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and served as a deacon of the church. He was also a member of the Gideon’s. He retired from Lone Star Steel.
Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.
Survivors include his daughters, Lois Terrell of The Woodlands, and Carolyn Freeman of Garland; sons, David Terrell Jr. of Daingerfield, and Joe Terrell of Athens, Greece; brother, Louis Terrell of DeKalb and sister, Lucille Hodgson of Texarkana; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Watkins was born Sept. 28, 1940, and died March 3.
