Bobby Joe Walker, 85, of Daingerfield, passed away Sept. 29, 2014 in his home. Mr. Walker was born Aug. 4, 1929 in DeKalb, Texas. 
His funeral was held Oct. 3 at Bates Family Funeral Home at 10 a.m. in DeKalb. Bro. Alben Walker and Bro. Lorean Byrd officiated.  He was buried in Woodmen Cemetry in DeKalb. Mr. Walker was a retired heavy equipment operator from Lone Star Steel, where he worked for 24 years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Daingerfield.

Mrs. Flori was born Dec. 22, 1915 and passed away Sept. 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Walker Flori and daughter-in-law, Patsy Flori; two sisters; and eight brothers. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Linda Flori of Ore City and Stephen and Carol Flori of Texarkana; eight grandchildren, Lee, Jimmy, Ashley, Matt, Mandy, Amy, Todd, and Kellie; and nine great-grandchildren, Amber, Zeon, Walker, Nicholas, Cammron, Samantha, Trey, Peyton, and Kittie.
