Owens Services for Barbara Ann Owens, 74, of Ore City will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Reeder-Davis Chapel in Ore City with Jack Hoffpauir officiating. Interment will follow at Coffeyville Cemetery in Ore City. There will be a time of visitation at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Owens was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Houston and died Aug. 9. Graveside services Bro. Bill Greer, 84, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation, beginning at 2 p.m. and lasting until service time, Saturday afternoon at the funeral home.
Mr. Greer was born Dec. 23, 1929, and died Aug. 7. He was a retired minister.

Stanton
Services for Ophelia Stanton, 65, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, at Hughes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Warlock Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stanton was born July 1, 1949, in Marion County to Ida Bell Stanton and Roger Williams, Sr., and died Aug. 1.

Harris
Services for Verna Ruth Harris, 91, of Hughes Springs will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Jay Pollan and Chad Thompson officiating, with interment to follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Inc.
Mrs. Harris was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minn. After graduating from high school, she joined the United States Navy W.A.V.E.S. where she served as a Pharmacist Mate third class. She met and fell for the southern charm of L.V. “Ranchie” Harris. They moved to Texas and were married in Texarkana in 1945. They purchased an existing drug store and changed the name to Harris Bros. Pharmacy in 1949 and operated it for over 30 years.

Hartzo
Graveside services for Vister Lee Hartzo, 97, of Avinger, will be held 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 4, at Chapelwood Cemetery with David Riedl officiating.
Mrs. Hartzo was born April 18, 1917, in New Albany, Mississippi to Henry and Myrtle Rakestraw Pannell, and died July 31, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hartzo.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Sisk and husband, Harvey of Avinger; grandchildren, Jennifer Johns and husband, Jason and Kristy Riedl and husband, David; and great-grandchildren, Corey, Jaylen, Titus, Luke and Hannah.

Services for George Wood, 81, of Hughes Springs were held Aug. 4, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Interment was at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Inc.
Mr. Wood was born Aug. 16, 1932, in Kirbyville, and died Aug. 2 at his residence in Hughes Springs.
