Services for Della Whitaker, 80 of Gilmer, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, at Holly Springs Baptist Church with James Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Inc. of Hughes Springs.
Ms. Whitaker was born Sept. 18, 1933, and died July 18, in Gilmer.

Services for Ray C. Marlar, 84, of Daingerfield will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Interment will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Marlar was born April 29, 1930, in Hope, Ark. and died July 18, in Mount Pleasant.

Green Services for Jerry Green, 72, of Pittsburg, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 21, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with the Rev. Kenneth Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow at Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Visitation with the family will be between 4 and 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Green was born Sept. 28, 1941, and died July 18, at East Texas Medical Center in Pittsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Aubrey and Mable Thelma Hackler Green and wife, Carolyn Green. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Rafe and Tammy Green of Pittsburg, Jason and Kaci Green of Daingerfield, and Jim Green of Pittsburg; grandchildren, McKenzie Green, Gracie Green, Trent Green and Emily Green; and one great-grandchild: Mia Kate Crayton. Memorials may be made to Matinburg Baptist Church or Alzheimers Association.

Harp
Services for Gilbert Terry Harp, 73, of Naples, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 21, at Naples Church of Christ in Naples with Johnathan Whitaker and Daniel Bramlett officiating. Interment will be in Springhill Cemetery in Naples. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, at the funeral home.
Mr. Harp was born Aug. 22, 1940, in Jefferson and died July 18 in Bryans Mill.

Espy
Services for Isaac Espy, 69, of Ore City, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Murray League Baptist Church in Ore City. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Ore City. Mr. Espy will lie in state from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Espy was born Feb. 17, 1945, to the union of Cleveland Espy and Rosetta Shoels Espy, and died July 13, in Longview.

Dudley Services for James ‘Rusty’ Ronnie Dudley Jr., 45 of Hughes Springs, were held July 15, at Church on the Rock in Daingerfield. Interment was at Dennis Cemetery. Mr. Dudley was born Jan. 20, 1969, in Naples and died July 11, at his home. Mr. Dudley was employed by Atlas Roofing of Daingerfield for 20 plus years. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Dudley always had a smile on his face and was a friend to all. He was an avid Mustang fan and enjoyed following the team each year. Mr. Dudley was preceded in death by his parents James R. Dudley Sr. and Paulya Golden; and wife, Diana L. Dudley.

Lefler Services for Paula Sue Barnard Lefler, 43, of Ore City will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Next Level Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bobby Proctor and Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Paula was born Aug. 19, 1970, in Mount Pleasant to Billy Edwards Barnard and Mary Yvonne Barnard and died July 13, in Longview. She was a member of the Next Level Pentecostal Church, and was a deaf education teacher at Longview High School for students with disabilities until 2007. Paula was a graduate of Daingerfield-Lone Star schools and Stephen F. Austin University.

Services for LaVerne V. Helton, 87, of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 14, at the Jenkins United Methodist Church with Jerry Irvin officiating. Interment will be in the Clark Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday preceding services at the church.
Mrs. Helton was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Kiamichi, Okla., to John R. Ellison and Ruby Alice Boatright, and died July 5 in Marshall.
