Services for Arzula Royal, 80, of Lone Star (Lake O’the Pines) will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 3, at Rock Island Non Denominational Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Ore City. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arzula was born Nov. 11, 1933, and died June 27, in Tyler.

Gilmore
Donnie Louise Gilmore, 68, of Daingerfield, was born April 7, 1946 and died June 25. No services are planned at this time.

Memorial Services for Marilyn Elizabeth Toland, 59, of Daingerfield will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Lilley’s Chapel Church of Christ with Kenny Schafer officiating.
Marilyn was born on July 21, 1954, in Hopewell, Va. to Curtis and Thelma Barfield, and died June 23 in Daingerfield.

Graveside services for James Kenneth Sutton, 80, of Ashdown, Ark. will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 28, at the Daingerfield Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ken was born Sept. 28, 1933, in Ashdown to James Toland and Nellie Hazel Sutton and died June 24, in Longview. He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired Chief Deputy Sheriff for Little River County in Arkansas. He was a Baptist.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and wife Shirley Sutton.

Coplan Services for Richard "Bull Rider" Coplan, 44, of Pittsburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Coplan was born Aug. 17, 1969, and died June 19, in Longview.

Services for Mellie Luster Harris, 96, of Linden, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 22, in the Chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with Perry Hart and Todd Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at the Cave Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 21, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harris was born July 28, 1917, to Elmer Luster and Lounette Huhges and died June 20 at her home.

Pennington
Services for Bettie Lee Pennington, 85 of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m.,
Sunday, June 22, at First Baptist Church in Cason with Scott Darby officiating.
Interment will be in the Emory City Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday June 21, at the funeral home.
Bettie was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Rains County, and died June 19, in Mount Pleasant. She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, Irving, and attended First Baptist Church of Cason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Maude Sisk; brothers W.J. Sisk and Lynn Sisk; sister Christine Ridenour; and daughter-in-law, Linda Glenn.

Black
Private family services for Earl Harold Black Jr., 64, of Hughes Springs, were held June 19, in Hughes Springs.
Mr. Black was born July 2, 1949, in Indianapolis, Ind., and died June 13, at his residence.
He was a veteran in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Smith Black; daughters, Kimberly Christine Ankenbruck, Stephanie Nicole Barnes and Alicia Michelle Fell; five grandchildren, Payton Elizabeth Ankenbruck, Abagayle Grace Barnes, Kailei Renee Fisseler, Elise Joy Barnes and Jude Christopher Ankenbruck; and brothers, Doug Black, Tom Smith and Butch Smith.

Smith

Services for Mabel Jewel Smith, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Nakia Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Smith will lie in state all day Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born July 15, 1934, in Morris County and died June 13 at her home.

Naron Services for Donald Ray Naron, 80, of Hughes Springs will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with the Rev. Brian Baldwin and Kevin Haygood officiating. Burial will follow at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Naron was born July 30, 1933, in Hughes Springs and died June 17, at a Longview hospital. He was retired from Cass County, Precinct #2, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Local Union 623, Local Union 819, and the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Mollie Naron.
