Fountain Services for Mildred Fountain, 84, of Mount Vernon, will be held at 11 a.m. on June 21, at Denton Baptist Church with Dr. Rev. W.A. Lacy officiating. Interment will be in Denton Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Denton Baptist Church in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Fountain was born April 17, 1930, in Mount Vernon and died June 14 at East Texas Medical Center in Mount Vernon.

Hodges
Bruce Alan Hodges, age 72, of Hughes Springs, passed away June 15. We will gather to celebrate Bruce’s life from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at The Legacy center in Hughes Springs. There will be food, beverages, music and plenty of talking; all of Bruce’s favorite things. We invite you to bring yours as well.
Bruce was born July 24, 1941, in San Francisco, Calif. He and his wife, Carol, were owners of The Design Factory Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Louis Hodges and Katheryne Elise Hodges.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Carol Cali Hodges; brother, Eric A. Hodges; sister, Elisabeth Hodges and fiancé Bruce Foytik; sisters-in-law, Josephine Hodges and Janice Cali; nieces, Sasha Hodges Weyrens and Clare Hodges Mandin; two grand-nieces; two grand-nephews; and a large family of friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.

Sessions
Services for Huey Sessions, 56, of Ore City, will be held Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Ore City. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.
Mr. Sessions was born Sept. 15, 1957, and died June 16 at his home in Ore City.

Neville Memorial services for Virginia Marlene Hood Parr Neville, 85, will be held at noon on Saturday, June 14, at the United Methodist Church with Les Colley officiating. Services are under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.There will be a time of visitation in the fellowship hall beginning an hour prior to the service. Mrs. Neville was born May 19, 1929, to James Wesley Hood and Lizzie Belle Goolsby Hood in the Oak Grove Community in Cass County and died June 8, in Longview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Neville; her parents; and her much loved only sister, Martha Hood Sanders.

Byrd
Services for Lora Lavern Byrd, 80, of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at First Baptist Church in Cason with Scott Darby officiating. Interment will be in the Clark Cemetery, under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Lora was born on Aug. 6, 1933, to John Harvey and Myrtle Sims, and died June 8.
She was a member of South Union Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Lora was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Byrd, sons, Jason Byrd and Johnny Byrd Jr.

Swanner
Services for Arland Swanner, 74, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Scott Darby officiating. Burial will follow at Grice Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Swanner was born April 16, 1940, to Buster and Myrtle Swanner, and died June 9.

Geraldine was born on Jan. 7, 1923, in Daingerfield, to Oney S. and Willie Galloway Hervey, and died June 5 in Hughes Springs.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eldon Holt.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Atchley of Hughes Springs; son, Thomas H. Holt of Lufkin; grandchildren Karen Calafot of Grand Prairie, Kay Black of Grand Prairie, Jason Black of Odin, Kan., LaCresha Self of Lufkin, Breck Holt of Midland; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
