Funeral services for Robert Jackson ‘R.J.’ Johnson, 82, of Naples, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 5 until 7 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 20, 1931 in Omaha, to Narcissie Mitchell and Robert Mickensm and died April 9.

Reyes
Services for Belinda Rhyne Reyes, 56, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 11 a.m, Saturday, April 19, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs.
Ms. Reyes was born May 11, 1957, to Johnny A. Rhyne Sr. and Gwenlee Rhyne in Midland, and died April 12.

Gholston
Services for Melvin L. Gholston, 62, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 18, at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Gholston was born May 27, 1951, to Marvin and Bobbie Gholston and died April 15.

Hopkins
Funeral services for Johnnie Hopkins of Lone Star (Lake O' The Pines), will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Ore City. There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hopkins was born March 13, 1941, and died April 14 in Longview.

McCoy
Graveside services for Martha Deel McCoy, 77, of Daingerfield will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, at Daingerfield Cemetery with Randy Seybert officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Martha was born on Feb. 25, 1938, in Idabel, Okla. to John Trimble and Estelene Blackburn, and died on April 14, Daingerfield. Her working years were in nursing.
Mrs. McCoy was was preceded in death by her husband, Newt McCoy; and daughter, Gail Smith.
Survivors include a brother George Thompson; grandson, Jerry Brock and wife, Monica; great-grandchildren Dalton, Heven and Rhee Brock; son-in-law, Johnny Smith; and brother-in-law Willie McCoy.

Wakefield
Services for Mikell Wakefield, 66, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wakefield was born Sept. 30, 1947, and died April 14.

Poole
Services for Dorothy Page Poole, 86, of Avinger will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 18, at the First Baptist Church in Avinger with Dennis Gibbons and Les Colley officiating. Burial will follow in Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Poole was born May 5, 1927, in Emerson, Ark. to Vincil Jerome and Ella Maloch Page and died April 14, in Hughes Springs.
She retired from Daingerfield-Lone Star Independent School District in 1990 and worked in the Avinger ISD from 1990 until 2002.

Blansit There will be no services held for Jo Lynn Blansit, 60, of Hughes Springs. She was a lady who respected privacy and her privacy will be respected in return. Mrs. Blansit was born Aug. 29, 1953, on Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, Calif., and died April 5, 2014 in Longview. Jo Lynn spent the majority of her life as a loving wife and mother. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1972 and a couple years after graduating, she moved to Texas where she met her future husband. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arch D. Blansit, in 2003 and her father, Kenneth L. Kelley, in 2000.

Thoms Graveside services for Gay LaNoyce Carson Thoms, 79, formally of Linden, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 14, at the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden. Ms. Thoms was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Linden to Willis Alva Carson and Hazelle Beauchamp Carson and died March 20 in Bedford.

Wardlow
A memorial service for Jimmy Wardlow, 72, of Cason, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at First Baptist Church in Cason with Scott Darby officiating.
Mr. Wardlow was born in Cason to John and Sarah Wardlow on Aug. 5, 1941, and died April 5.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cason, a firefighter for Cason Fire Department for over 45 years and was serving as fire chief. He was an electrician and plumber.
Mr. Wardlow was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Wardlow; and a son James H. Wardlow.
Survivors include two sons, John Wardlow of Dallas, and Billy Wardlow of Livingston; and one
sister, Susann Bynum of Longview.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
