Last fall, NTCC engaged the services of Interact Communications, one of the top community college marketing firms in the country, to conduct market research, create a recognizable brand and develop a comprehensive marketing and recruitment plan. School holds fantastic events

When you are used to seeing kids at school in their daily attire, it is a real treat to see them all dressed up to go out for a different caliber of banquet than they are used to.

This year was the second year I was invited to attend the very prestigious Hughes Springs High School Distinguished Scholar’s dinner. This was held at the Mount Pleasant Country Club.

Parents and students arrived and last year I learned a really neat thing they do at this banquet, besides eat. Each honors student was given a chance to ask their favorite educator to come to the banquet. This educator had to have made a big impact on their growing up through the years of school. How nice this was and what an honor it was for these educators.
