Wanda Sue Key Black was born Dec. 20, 1945 in Gurdon, Ark. to Virgil and Trebia Coon Key. She left this life in the arms of her loving husband to join our Heavenly Father on Aug. 7, in Little Rock, Ark. after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
She married the love of her life, David Rodney Black, on April 1, 1967. They made their home and raised their three children in Hughes Springs. She dedicated her life to her family. She was a Christian and a member of First United Methodist Church of Hughes Springs. After retiring from Joe Richardson Insurance, she and David enjoyed traveling, helping others in their community, spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They could often be found at most any Mustang sporting event or any event involving their grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her only son, David Rodney Black, Jr; her parents; mother-in-law, Ethel Wallace Black; brothers-in-law, Arthur Doddridge and Wayne Beals.
