NASH

Services for Amy Vesta Langford Nash, 36 of Daingerfield were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at New Prospect church in Beckville with Bro. Robert Scott and Bro. Chad Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Harris Chapel Cemetery near Beckville.

Amy was born on Aug. 19, 1980 in Shreveport, and died on Saturday, Sept. 24, in Tyler.

She was a Christian and was employed at Pittsburg Animal Hospital.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Wendall Langford and James Louis Allen, and niece Colby Vernon.

PLUNKETT

Services for Robert Plunkett, 82, of Cason were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at First Baptist Church in Cason, with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial followed at Blevins Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Plunkett was born Sept. 29, 1933 and passed away Sept. 25, 2016. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, former Fire Chief in Cason, and a reserve Morris County deputy. He is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Plunkett of Cason; children, Kim Plunkett of Ft. Polk, LA., Robin Gazo and husband Mike of Florida, Robert Plunket II of Pittsburg, Becky Montgomery and husband Mike of Cason, James Glen Welchel of Cason, Brenda Kay Morton and husband Ronnie of Marshall; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; and one brother, Billy Ray Plunkett of New York.

PEARCE

Dr. James David Pearce was born on July 16, 1950. Pearce died on Sept. 17, after a long illness. He was a resident of Alta Loma, and retired from General Micro Systems, Rancho Cucamonga. A member of Eleventh Street Baptist Church in Upland, he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and choir member.

Jim was born in Longview, the son of Nan and the late Rev. Bob Pearce. He was a graduate of Texas A&M, College Station, with a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering. He was employed by Savannah River in Aiken, South Carolina, and General Micro Systems.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carole; his sons, David (Raquel) and Michael; one granddaughter, his mother Nan Pearce, of Naples; and three siblings, John Pearce (Patsy) of Denton, Joanna Griffin (Jimmy) of Naples, and Joy LaPoint (Tommy) of Longview.

CRAWLEY

Marty Dewayne Crawley, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Friday Sept. 16, in Bowie County, Texas. He was born July 19, 1981 in Longview, to Randall and Sharion (Barnard) Crawley.

Marty was a graduate of Daingerfield High School, a member of the Argo Missionary Baptist Church and a truck driver.

He leaves his wife, Mandy of Mount Pleasant, his parents, Randall and Sharion Crawley of Cookville; grandparents, Clovin and Peggy Barnard of Jenkins; motherin- law, Linda Hicks of Louisiana; two daughters, Taylor O’Dell and Macy O’Dell both of Mount Pleasant; one grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Rachel Crawley of Mount Pleasant; sister and brotherin- law, Wendy and Nathan Mayfield of Cookville; 8 nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Nita Crawley and his father-in-law, Dwight Arender.

Fred Lee Neal was born in Marion Co. on Sept. 19, 1920, and died on Sept. 14. Services for Mr. Neal were held Saturday, Sept. 24, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Avinger. Funeral services began at 1:00 p.m., and interment followed at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Avinger, under the direction of Frazier-Mitchell Funeral Service, Inc., of Houston.

Services for Mr. Naymond Montgomery Sr., 74, of Lone Star, were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial followed at Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery under the direction of Reeder- Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. Mr. Montgomery was born March 25, 1942 and died Sept. 10.

ALLEN

Randy Charles Allen, 67, of Linden died Sept. 18, at his home. Mr. Allen was born Sept. 15, 1949 in Texarkana, AR. Services were held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday Sept. 22, 2016 at the Linden Cemetery with Pastor Michael Bedevian officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Linden United Methodist Church or Wounded Warriors.

LEE

Leahmon Lee, 97 from Longview, a beloved brother, uncle, and cousin, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 16, after suffering from bone cancer and dementia. We are forever grateful for the special gift knowing this good man.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. at the Clark Cemetery in Daingerfield, on Monday, Sept. 19. Arrangements were under the direction of Nail- Haggard Funeral Home. Service was led by Bro. Chad Thompson, pastor of South Union Baptist Church. Soloist was Ted Smith.

Leahmon was born on June 29, 1919 to Jimmy Lee and Ona Lewis Lee in Morris County, Texas. Leahmon is survived by his wife of 17 years, Ruby Reynolds Lee; one sister, Joyce Farris and husband, Don Farris of Lone Star; step daughter, Vicki Barton and husband Weldon Barton of Daingerfield; nieces, Kaye Sandlin, Jane Terrell, Aleeda Barton, and Greta Smith; nephews, Charles Hart, Don Farris, II, Kevin Farris, and Douglas Farris.
