Schmid
A memorial service for Juanita Schmid, 78, of Linden, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, at The Linden Church of Christ under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Linden.
Mrs. Schmid was born March 26, 1935, in Reagan to Grady Hunt and Alma Smelcer Hunt and died Jan. 29 at her home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Linden Church of Christ.

Britt Graveside services for Gary Neal Britt will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Britt was born Jan. 28, 1938, in Waco and died Jan. 30, at his home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Britt served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Lexington and held various jobs in the gas compressor industry. He retired from Hamilton Supply in 2002. Survivors include his wife, Melba Britt; son, Timothy James Britt of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Angela Michelle Britt, of Tyler; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Barbara Andrews, of Whitehouse; one brother, Ralph Britt and wife, Debra, of Bullard; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Pate
Services for Wade Steven Pate, 51, of Houston, will be held Friday, Jan. 31, in the Chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Interment will follow in Floyd Hill Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Pate was born Sept. 1, 1962, in Pasadena to Leslie Ray pate and Liddie Mae Smallwood Pate and died Jan. 26 in a Houston hospital.

Young

Services for Jerry L. Young, 70, of Hughes Springs will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Dennis Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Homes, Inc., of Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, at the funeral home.
Mr. Young was born Feb. 1, 1943, to Gerald Young and Christine Trimble and died Jan. 24.

Ayers
Graveside services for Gary Lloyd Ayers, 66 of Naples will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, at the Daingerfield Cemetery with Bryan Peck and John Thomas officiating. Mr. Ayers was born Sept. 27, 1947, and died Jan. 24, in Naples.
Donations may be made to Cypress Basin Hospice.

Morrow
Services for Hosea Morrow, 82, of Ore City will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan.26, at Murry League Baptist Church in Ore City with James Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Community Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.
Mr. Morrow will lie in state on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m.
Mr. Morrow was born Nov. 18, 1931, and died January 23, at his home.

Steed
Services for Shirley Ann Steed, 76 of Daingerfield were held Jan.24, at the Lakeview Baptist Encampment in Lone Star with the Rev. Gib Allen officiating.
Mrs. Steed was born Oct. 28, 1937, in Bizbe, Ariz. to Otis Franklin and Violet Russell Tallant and died Jan. 22, in Hughes Springs.

White
Riva Dolores White was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Sayre, Okla., and died Jan. 22, in Hughes Springs.
She was an avid animal lover and loved to play basketball. She retired from Daingerfield High School where she coached physical education for many years. She was the founder of the Daingerfield girl’s basketball and volleyball teams. She also announced at local rodeos and she was a Methodist.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jewell Robertson; father, Cuber Robertson; and one daughter, Debbie White.
Survivors include four children, Marcy White and wife, Lois, Kevin White and wife, Frances, Dina White-Dickson and husband, David, and Rheta White and life partner, Brandi Capps; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, C. L. Robertson and wife Iva Jane Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be left in care of Marilyn Cross, Activities Director, The Springs Nursing Center, 704 N. Taylor, Hughes Springs, TX 75656.

Munkres Services for Danny Lee Munkres, 67, of Omaha will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan.24, at the Church of Christ in Daingerfield with Tim Gibbs and Norman Miller officiating. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery in Naples under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home. Mr. Munkres was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Omaha and died Jan. 21 in a Longview hospital.

Fails
Services for Forrest Fails, 81, of Ore City, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at New Hope Baptist Church with Tony Pierce officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.
Mrs. Fails was born Dec. 15, 1931, and died Jan. 17.
