Services for Mary Holloman Williams, 81, formerly of Hughes Springs, will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Daniel Bramlett officiating. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Williams was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Scott County, Miss., and died Dec. 28.

Services for William Loyd High, 88, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Interment will follow in Hughes Springs Cemetery.
Mr. High will lie in state from 9 a.m. until service time and the family will be present from 10 a.m. to noon.
Mr. High was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Morris County and died Dec. 29 at Longview hospital.

Graveside services for Billy Drew Johnson, 56, of Daingerfield, will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 30, at Flat Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Mr. Johnson was born Aug. 18, 1957, in Hughes Springs to Sherman Johnson and Margaret Burrow and died Dec. 23.

Morris
Graveside services for Carl Lewis Morris Jr., 61, of Linden, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 30 at Mockingbird Hill Cemetery in Linden.
Mr. Morris was born July 2, 1952, to Carl Lewis Morris Sr. and Doris Jean Harris Morris, and died Dec. 24 in Linden.

Crump
Services for Walter Crump, 92, of Arlington, will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 24, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Interment will follow in Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, in Hughes Springs.
Mr. Crump was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Daingerfield and died Dec. 21, in Arlington.

Downs Services for Mildred Faulkner Downs, 90, of Avinger were held Dec. 19, at the First Baptist Church of Avinger. Interment was in Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Downs Funeral Home of Marshall. Mrs. Downs was born Nov. 18, 1923, in Frankston, to Troy Clifton and Clemie Gay Faulkner, and died Dec. 15. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Avinger, and was a Sunday school teacher. She married Arthur E. Downs on Oct. 31, 1942, in Avinger, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2013. Mrs. Downs retired from First State Bank of Avinger as vice president and cashier in 1999 after 37 years of service. She was the treasurer of the Avinger Cemetery Association for about 20 years. Mrs.

Morrow
Services for Glinda M. Morrow, 53, of Lone Star, were held Dec. 23, at Gums Springs in Douglassville with the Rev. Q.T. Williams officiating. Interment was in Gums Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Morrow was born March 2, 1960, and died Dec. 18.

Staner Memorial sevices for Vernon Joel Staner., 80, of Linden, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Mr. Staner was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Baytown to Harvey Albert and Katherine Mae VanNatter Staner and died Dec. 18 at his home.

Sowell
Memorial services for Virginia Nell Sowell, 57, of Royse City since 2008, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel.
Mrs. Sowell was born June 1, 1956, in Clarksville to Frank and Pauline Lofton Robert and died Dec. 17.

Services for Pastor Alfred Key, 88, of Daingerfield will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Pastor Key will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 Friday evening at Faith Temple COGIC.
Pastor Key was born Sept. 10, 1925, in Morris County and died Dec. 14, in Hughes Springs.
