Swift
Services for Charles Swift, 88, will be held at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Linden on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Linden Cemetery. Visitation will be at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Swift was born on April 7, 1925, in Clarksville, Ark. and died Nov. 18 at his home in Linden.

Carter Services for Nevada Carter, 61 of Lake O' The Pines, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 23, at WRS Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Mims Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Ore City. Ms. Carter will lie in state on Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home in Ore City. Ms. Carter was born Aug. 18, 1952, and died Nov. 16 in Longview.

Myers
Services for Roger Clyde Myers, 73, of Hughes Springs, will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, with Jeremy Cain officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Myers was born April 14, 1940, in Shreveport, La., and died Nov. 18, at a Longview hospital.

Smith
Services for John Edward 'Eddie' Smith, 85, will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Harrison Funeral Chapel in Naples. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery in Naples under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
Mr. Smith was born Oct. 24, 1928, and died Nov. 15. He loved to fish, hunt, road trips and spending time with his family, whom he loved very much. Eddie owned and operated Daingerfield City Cleaners for over 30 years. Upon retirement, he became the original American picker. He loved garage sales and auctions.
Pop, as he was lovingly called by his family, was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Smith and Cecil Mae Taylor; one brother, Bobby Gerald Smith; one sister, Nancy Bell Johnston; his wife Reba McCellon; one stepson and his wife, Marion and Betty McCellon.

O’Dell
Services for Charles Richard O’Dell, 80 of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church with Jerry Irvin officiating. Interment will be in the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mr. O’Dell was born on July 22, 1933, in Daingerfield to Ernest and Cleo O’Dell and died on Nov. 15, in Longview.
He was a member of Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church and was retired from Lone Star Steel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Phillips.

Ryle Services for Geneva Stewart Ryle, 92, will be held at First United Methodist Church in Hughes Springs on Friday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at Reeder Davis Funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Ryle was born on Dec. 7, 1920, in Malvern, Ark., and passed away on Nov. 12, in a local nursing home. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband A. Hiram Ryle, son M. F. “Bub” Ryle, grandson Stewart Lee Clark, and son-in-law G. W. “Bill” Clark. She is survived by one daughter, Nita Clark of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, Brandi and Mark Dalhoff of Nacogdoches, Christy Martinez of Frisco, Cindy Clark of Grapevine, Kevin and Susan Clark of Pearland, Monica and Todd Silvest, Natalie and Doug Keller, Nicole Carmadelle, all of south Louisiana, Andy Ryle of Arlington, Dijon and Shirley Ryle of Poplarville, Miss; 24 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Services for Winnie Christine Basham, 85, of Longview, were held Nov. 1, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs.
Mrs. Basham was born Nov. 20, 1926, in Bluitt, N.M., and died Oct. 29 in Longview

Services for Curtis “Chubbo” Glenn Evans, 53, of Omaha, were held Nov. 2, at Mt. Mitchell Church of Christ with Joe Rivers officiating.  Interment was in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born July 1, 1960, to Billie Earl and Pearlie Mae Evans of Omaha and died Oct. 25 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Services for Aubrey Dale Files, 71, of Hughes Springs were held Nov. 4, at the First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with the Rev. Don Ross officiating.Interment was Nov. 5, at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mr. Files was born Sept. 17,1942, and died Oct. 30.
