Services for Euna Mae Jackson, 77, of Pittsburg, were held Oct. 12 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric Simmons officiating. Interment was in Lafayette Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson was born Nov. 17, 1935, to Freeman and Lillie Dell Farmer, and died Oct. 7.

Waple Dee Nix passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, at his home in Lone Star. Dee was born June 11, 1923, in Daingerfield. He graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1940, and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.
After the war, he was an analyst for ARCO. After retiring to his home in Texas, he attended Lilly’s Chapel Church of Christ in Daingerfield. He requested no memorial service. His body was cremated, and his ashes will be scattered.
Mr. Nix was a loving husband, wonderful father figure, and great family patriarch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clenton and Winnie Lou Harris Nix; sisters, Wanda Merleen Nix and Della Jean Nix Bonds; brother, Winfield Nix; first wife, Catherine Truccio Nix; second wife, Judy Beechler Hinshaw Nix; and nephew, Kelly Dee Nix.  

Graveside services for Mazie Powell, 96, of Cookville, were held Oct. 13, at Cornett Cemetery.
Mrs. Powell was born Dec. 19, 1916, and died Oct. 11 in Mount Pleasant.

Services for June Woods, 76, of Longview were held Oct. 13, at First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with the Rev. Wayne Spanhanks officiating. Burial was in the Daingerfield Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Woods passed away Oct. 10, after a brave fight with cancer. She was born on June 1, 1937, in Daingerfield to Bobby and Lusta Bell Moore. She lived in Daingerfield growing up where she met Richard in the fourth grade. She graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1955.
Mrs. Woods was married to her childhood sweetheart, Richard Woods for 41 years and two sons, Rick and Ron, were born of this union.

Zimmer
Services for Erva Jane Tiller Zimmer, 92, of Daingerfield will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Tim Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Zimmer was born Aug. 6, 1921, in Redwater and died Oct. 13, in Hughes Springs.

Services for Curtis Russell Guest, 53, of Cason, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, at Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburg with the Revs. Curtis Guest, Chris Jones, and Doyle Rust officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery in Omaha.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield.
Mr. Guest was born June 30, 1960, in Mount Pleasant, to Charles and Wanda Guest and died Oct. 9 in Mount Pleasant.
