HUGHES SPRINGS -- Local services for Dr. Fred Lewis, 64, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Mount Mitchell Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow at Reynolds Cemetery under the direction of Reeder- Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Lewis died Feb. 24.

LINDEN– Services for Margaret Ann Morgan, 78, of Linden were Thursday, March 2, at the Frist Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Jackie Stanfield officiating. Burial followed in the New Colony Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Morgan died on Feb. 27. She was born Feb. 15, 1939. DAINGERFIELD -- Services for Don Sheridan, 65, of Daingerfield, were March 4, at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder- Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Sheridan was born Nov. 21, 1951 in Grand Saline and passed away March 1, in Longview.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Anna Lavern Sheridan.

He is survived by his children, Jessica Almendarez and husband Shane, and Leslie Sheridan and wife Destiny; grandchildren, Olivia Almendarez, Alex Sheridan, Kandon Sheridan, and Ella Sheridan.

After a career of long haul truck driving, Don decided to change course. He graduated from North East Texas Community College in 1995 as a Registered Nurse. He served in the medical field for over 20 years, working in various positions from cardiac care to hospice care. His love for helping others was trumped only by his love for his children and grandchildren, and their love for him.

 AVINGER -- Services for Odell Peppers, 68, of Avinger, were March 2, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Avinger. Burial followed at Mount Moriah Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Peppers was born March 30, 1948 and passed away Feb. 27.
