BARNARD

 Services for Yvonne Barnard, 77 of Daingerfield were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Yvonne was born on Jan. 14, 1939 in Gadsden, Ala. to Rufus Henry Abernathy and Ruby Lucille Elliott Williamson. She died on Monday, May 16, in Daingerfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Paula Barnard Lefler.

Yvonne was a member of First Baptist Church of Cason and former owner of Daingerfield Flower Shop.

CAPEHART

Victor Vannoy Capehart, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on May 19, in Mount Pleasant. He was born Nov. 7, 1933 in Mount Pleasant to George and Bessie Stanley Capehart. He served his country in the United States Army and in the National Guard for 30 Years, was a Truant Officer for the Mount Pleasant ISD, was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association, and was a member of the Titus County Democratic Party.

He was survived by his wife Peggy Sue Capehart, daughter & son-in-law Tabbatha & David Higginbotham, 2 Grandsons, brother Chester Capehart, sister & brother-in-law Newlyn & Earnest Parnell, sister & brother-in-law Gerry & Kirby Pickett, one niece, and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Aileen Capehart, and his son Victor R. Capehart.

Services for Clint Julian, 57 of Hughes Springs, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 at Leesburg Cemetery, under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Julian was born on Aug. 29, 1958, and died on May 17.

Services for Mrs. Lillie Pearl Hamilton, 92 of Cason, were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Mount Mitchell Church of Christ. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Hamilton was born June 29, 1923 and passed away May 10.

Services for Dorothy Mae Randle, 80, of Lone Star, will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Randle was born Feb. 9, 1936 and passed away April 28.

Una Lee “Pat” Shirey was born Dec. 10, 1917 and died on Friday, April 15. Services were held on April 19 at 11 a.m. at South Union Missionary Baptist Church in Daingerfield, under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home in Naples.

COULTER

Charline Dodson Coulter passed away Monday, May 2. She was born July 13, 1925, in Wright City, Oklahoma, and currently resided in Little Rock, AR. The Good Lord decided that Monday would be a great day to join the love of her life, Dick Coulter, so, that they could celebrate what was their 69th wedding anniversary.

Charline was a 40+ year resident of Daingerfield, TX, and also lived in Longview, Hot Springs, AR, Lockesburg, AR, and De Queen, AR.

Charline was a survivor and full of determination in her every endeavour. She was an educator who taught in Mount Ida, AR, Hughes Springs, TX and Daingerfield, TX, for many years; she began college at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, and graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce She was actively involved in the First Methodist Church of Daingerfield, Pandora Study Club and PEO.

WATSON

Homer Watson, age 95, of Hughes Springs died on Tuesday, May 3. He was born Jan. 15, 1921 in Linden, to Tommy and Florence Watson.

Homer was an active member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where he served his Lord as deacon for 59 years. He was retired from Lone Star Steel Co. He served in WWII in the Pacific Arena.

He is survived by his wife Daisy of 66 years; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Carolyn Watson, Mark and Susan Watson, and Gary and Rhonda Watson all of Hughes Springs; one daughter, Renee Clark of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Morse, Merele Hamilton and one brother, JE Watson all of Linden.

Services for Mr. Watson will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.

Services for Janice Kay Northam, 68 of Prescott, Az. Will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at Spring Hill Church with Norman Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Janice was born on March 21, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas to Jamie Charles and Merlene Mae McCluggage and died on April 28.

in Phoenix, Az.. She was a member of Prescott Valley Christian Church in Prescott Valley, Az.

Janice was preceded in death by her father.
