Lena Mary Wiggins, 97, of Linden died Wednesday, March 9, in a local nursing home. Ms. Wiggins was born Jan. 10, 1919 in Linden. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial followed in the Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Reeder- Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
Dennis Elton Hatten died on March 3. Den was born on Feb. 6 1959 in Occa, Louisiana. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Bro. Ben Terry officiating. Warner Glenn (Joe) Shelton, of Hughes Springs, died March 2. A celebration of his life was held Monday, March 7, at 3 p.m. at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Services for Linda Penny Staton, 71 of Linden, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Linden United Methodist Church, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Mrs. Staton died March 3. Linda was born to Olan Alfred and Genie Mae Watson Penny on Oct. 23, 1944 in Hughes Springs.

Robert Hoover, age 87, of Hughes Springs, died on Feb. 19, at his residence after a battle with cancer. Robert was born on Oct. 8, 1928. Burial services will be held in West Frankfort, Illinois, at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
Services for Mr. Everett Royal of Hughes Springs, were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Mr. Royal was born Sept. 25, 1925 and died Feb. 27.
