Lady Tiger tracksters perform well at recent meets

By STAFF REPORTS

The Lady Tiger track team competed in back to back meets recently, traveling to Hughes Springs for the Perritte Relays on March 22 before running in the New Diana Eagle Relays on March 24.

At the New Diana Eagle Relays, the Lady Tigers placed third overall while showing their toughness to run on minimal rest.

“This meet served as a competitive workout for us.” Said head track Coach Dana Carter. “We ran on Thursday at Hughes Springs and then within 48 hours competed in another meet. This will help us in the long run when we get to the Regional meet in late April. I tell the girls if they can do it when they are tired then the sky is the limit when you’re not tired. Very proud of what I saw on Saturday.”
