Donation

The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently donated $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at Northeast Texas Community College majoring in an allied health field. Honoring America’s Heroes

In the lone county runoff race for Cass County District Clerk, Jamie Price Albertson-R captured 1,043 votes for a total of 53.85 percent over Pam Jaynes-R’s 894 votes or 46.15 percent.

Construction underway

Construction on the new elementary expansion at Hughes Springs Independent School District has begun. The board approved the maximum price on the elementary expansion as $865,000 for the six-classroom addition.
